Ice edge estimated from Newfoundland near 4915N 5328W to 4945N 5123W
to 5343N 5022W to 5526N 5139W to 5701N 5617W to 6133N 5909W to 6200N
5851W. Sea ice north then west of the ice edge.

Strait of Belle Isle - eastern half.
5 tenths first-year ice including a trace of old ice. Consolidated
rotten first-year ice along parts of the coasts.

Strait of Belle Isle - western half.
Bergy water except 1 tenth first-year ice including a trace of old
ice in the northeastern section. Consolidated rotten first-year ice
along parts of the coasts.

Belle Isle Bank.
Bergy water except 4 tenths first-year ice including a trace of old
ice in the western section.

South Labrador Coast.
6 tenths first-year ice including a trace of old ice except 9 plus
tenths first-year ice including a trace of old ice along parts of
the coast in the southern section. Consolidated first-year ice along
parts of the coast.

Lake Melville.
Consolidated rotten first-year ice.

Mid Labrador Coast.
5 tenths first-year ice including a trace of old ice except 9 plus
tenths first-year ice including a trace of old ice along the coast.

South Labrador Sea - southeastern half.
