Ice forecasts for the Great Lakes issued by Environment Canada at
12:00 p.m. EDT Sunday 23 March 2025 for today tonight and Monday.
The next scheduled forecasts will be issued at 12:00 p.m. Monday.

Western Lake Superior.
Open water except 2 tenths thick lake ice along parts of the shores.
Consolidated thick lake ice in Black Bay, Nipigon Bay, Chequamegon
Bay and eastern Thunder Bay.

Eastern Lake Superior.
Open water except 3 tenths medium lake ice including 1 tenth thick
lake ice near the eastern shore. Consolidated medium lake ice along
parts of the shores.

Whitefish Bay.
6 tenths medium lake ice including 2 tenths thick lake ice.
Consolidated thick lake ice in the eastern section.

North Channel.
Consolidated thick lake ice.

Northern Lake Huron.
Open water except 1 tenth thick lake ice along parts of the shores
in the northwestern section. 9 plus tenths thick lake ice along
parts of the Bruce Peninsula. Consolidated thick lake ice along
parts of the shores.

Southern Lake Huron.
Open water except 9 plus tenths thick lake ice along parts of the
shore in the northeastern section.

Georgian Bay.
Open water except 5 tenths medium lake ice including 1 tenth thick
lake ice in the northeastern section. Consolidated thick lake ice
along the northeastern shores.

Lake St. Clair
Western Lake Erie.
Open water.

Eastern Lake Erie.
1 tenth thick lake ice except 9 tenths thick lake ice in the extreme
eastern section.

Western Lake Ontario.
Open water.

Eastern Lake Ontario.
Open water except 5 tenths medium lake ice including 2 tenths thick
lake ice along parts of the shores in the extreme northeastern
section.

Northern Lake Michigan.
Open water except 5 tenths thick lake ice east of Beaver Island.
Consolidated thick lake ice along parts of the eastern shore.

Southern Lake Michigan.
Open water.

Green Bay.
Open water except 2 tenths thick lake ice in northern Green Bay.
Consolidated thick lake ice in northern Bays de Noc.
