Ice edge estimated from Labrador near 5819N 6237W to 5758N 6019W to
5936N 5828W to 6051N 6059W to 6200N 6044W then northeastward. Sea
ice west of the ice edge.

Unusual presence of old ice in the extreme western section today and
continuing Friday.
